All sales from my
shop are subject to UK legislation.
Postage & packing
(shipping) fees are a flat $2 fee for UK orders, and $3 per order
from any other country.
Please be aware that if you place an
order from outside the UK, the delivery may be subject to import
duties resulting from customs inspections when entering your country
or state. Please check the rules on importing into your country or
state to see if you will be charged. The Wellington Boot cannot be
held responsible for these charges. Usually, the rules simply
state a price limit on international purchases, so if you spend
below the specified amount, custom fees will not be
charged.
Please make sure that the delivery address you enter
whilst paying with Paypal is correct - as the address in your Paypal
account is the one I will use. The Wellington Boot cannot be held
responsible for the loss of an order as a result of delivering to an
incorrect address.

Delivery
All U.K. orders
under £40 (approx $60) will be sent using Royal Mail First Class
delivery, and orders over £40 will be insured (so will require a
signature on delivery).
International orders under $60 will
be sent via the regular airmail service. High value orders will be
insured. Please note it can take anywhere from a few days to few
weeks to deliver to an address outside the UK, depending on your
location.
Orders will be posted to you within 3 working
days of receiving your payment.
Please contact us if you have not received
your goods after 2 weeks (for UK orders), or after 4 weeks (for
international orders).

Terms &
Conditions
We have made every effort to display and
describe all of our jewellery accurately. The colour of some items
may vary slightly from the photographs due to lighting conditions
and angles, and also the patterns on some natural materials such as
mother of pearl, abalone, shell and gemstones may vary slightly
between individual pieces.
All findings comply with the EEC Low Nickel
Regulations
Please be aware that jewellery contains many
small parts - so please keep your jewellery out of reach of young
children.
Customer service is a priority here at The
Wellington Boot, so please don't hesitate to get in touch with
queries, suggestions and feedback!

Stock
Some items are one-off products and cannot be
recreated, whilst others are often produced in a very limited
number. If a product you like is sold out, please contact us -
because sometimes we can re-order stock to make a second run of a
product (and you may be lucky!)
Just a note on necklace fastenings: Antique
brass chains and gunmetal chains all have a lobster clasp fastening
as standard (even if it's not mentioned in the description). Some of
the gunmetal chain necklaces may have an extender chain attached too
(which will be mentioned in the description). Sterling silver chain
necklaces will have a handmade sterling silver hook-and-eye clasp, a
sterling silver lobster clasp or a sterling silver bolt ring for the
fastening (the specific necklace description will state which one
will be supplied).

Returns
We hope you are happy with your purchase,
however if you wish to return your purchase, please do so within 7
days (for UK orders), or 14 days (for international orders). If you
comply with the rules, you may choose to receive a refund or a
replacement item of the same value.
We do not refund
the return shipping costs unless the reason for the return is due to
a mistake on our part i.e. we sent the wrong item, the item was
damaged in transit, or the item does not match the description. If
you would like to return an item, it would be best to contact us via
the contact form page first to see if there is another way to
resolve the issue.
You must retain the proof of posting
certificate for any returned item.
For hygiene reasons, earrings are
non-returnable unless faulty or damaged in transit. All goods must
be returned unworn and in the original packaging.

Custom Orders
If you would like us to make a custom order for
you, please get in touch via the contact form. We hope we can help,
but often we have limited stock and may be unable to create what you
would like. Custom orders are subject to an additional charge, and a
non-returnable deposit of 25% is required prior to manufacture.
Also, please be aware that custom orders may take much longer to
post, depending on if stock has to be ordered in. Custom orders
cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged in
transit.
If you see a necklace on sale but would like a
different length, you can choose between 14", 16", 18", 20" and 22"
at no extra charge, as long as the necklace is made with antique
brass or gunmetal black chain. If this is the case, please add the
length and colour (brass or gunmetal) you require within the
'Messages' section of you Paypal payment. Sometimes, the length or
colour cannot be changed, and if this is the case, we will contact
you ASAP and provide a full refund. It would be advisable to contact
us prior to purchasing, in order to check whether the length or
colour of the necklace can be changed.
Please note that sterling silver chains cannot
be swapped with another colour/material, and a change of length (if
possible) will be subject to an additional charge due to the expense
of silver chain. Please contact us to ask about a change of
length.

Wholesale
I'm afraid we can't yet offer a wholesale
option due to the limited numbers of each product.

Privacy
Your personal details will never be used for
any other purpose than to carry out your order. We are an independant shop, so we
alone have access to your details - and we will not share them with
a third party.
By using Paypal as 'the middle man', we never
see your credit or debit card details.

Copyright
The Wellington Boot prohibits the use of all
images and photographs without permission. Any unauthorised use of
the images and photographs displayed on this website may violate
copyright laws.

Product Care
Do NOT expose your jewellery to water or
moisture unless this is necessary for cleaning (see below). If
cleaning with water is necessary, make sure the jewellery is dried
thoroughly before storing.
If you can, it is best to keep your jewellery
pieces separate from each other in sealable bags (provided) - to
stop tangling and too much exposure to air.
Storing all of your jewellery with very cheap
silica gel sachets or anti-tarnishing squares will slow down any
discolouration and save you time on cleaning and polishing. This
mostly applies to the silver and gold jewellery.
